Preheat the oven to 200'C/180'C fan
In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, margarine, espresso and vanilla
Transfer the mix to a lined baking tin so that the mix is 1 inch deep
On a medium heat, fry the pecans in the maple syrup for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly
Once the pecans are cool enough to touch, press into your tray of brownie mix
Bake for 20-25 minutes and allow to cool before cutting!
